Terms of Use
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and PC Game Port (ABN 57 181 965 323, "we", "us"), the maker of the PC Game Port app. By downloading, installing or using the PC Game Port app, or subscribing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. What PC Game Port is
PC Game Port is a macOS app that runs Windows programs, mainly games, on Macs with Apple Silicon. It uses Wine and other third-party components. It is not Windows, and it isn't made, endorsed or supported by Microsoft, Apple or any game publisher.
2. Free trial and subscription
- Free trial. You may use every feature with unlimited games for 14 days from first use, at no cost, with no card or account. It never turns into a paid subscription by itself: after that, playing and adding games needs a subscription you choose to buy. Your games, saves and settings stay on your Mac. The trial is once per Mac: reinstalling the app doesn't restart it.
- Subscription. While your subscription is active, you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app with unlimited games on the number of Macs stated at checkout. You can move it to another Mac with Deactivate This Mac in Settings.
- Renewal and cancelling. Your subscription renews automatically every month or year, as chosen at checkout, at the price shown then, until you cancel. Before every renewal we email you the renewal date, the amount and how to cancel: at least 14 days ahead for yearly plans and at least 7 days ahead for monthly plans. Cancel anytime online from your orders page, linked in your receipt email and in every reminder, or by email; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a price change applies to your renewal.
- Don't share, resell or publish your subscription key, or remove or bypass the subscription check or the trial's limits.
Subscriptions are sold by our payment provider, our reseller and merchant of record, which also handles payment, tax and invoices. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
3. Third-party components
The app includes open-source software such as Wine and DXMT, which are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). Each component stays under its own license, and nothing in these terms limits the rights those licenses give you, including getting the source code. Some components, such as Apple's D3DMetal, are provided under their owners' terms. The source code of the open-source parts we ship is available at our GitHub repository.
4. Your games and how you use them
- Only run games and programs you have the right to use, and follow their license terms and the rules of the stores and online services you play on.
- Don't use PC Game Port to cheat, to get around anti-cheat, copy protection or DRM, or to run pirated software.
- Some publishers and anti-cheat systems block or ban players on Wine or on Macs. We can't control that and aren't responsible for actions a publisher or platform takes against your account.
- You are responsible for backing up your save games and other files.
5. No guarantee that a game will run
Wine doesn't support every Windows program. Whether a game runs, and how well, depends on the game, its updates, its anti-cheat and your Mac. Use the free trial and Tools → Check System Requirements before you buy. Except where the law says otherwise, the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or compatibility with any game.
6. Updates and support
We may release updates that add, change or remove features. An active subscription includes all updates to PC Game Port. Subscribers get support by email at support@pcgameport.com. We help as best we can, but can't promise a fix for every game.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost saves, account bans or lost profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, or a payment is refunded or charged back, the subscription ends and playing games needs a new subscription. Sections 3, 5 and 7 continue to apply.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply to your subscription from your next renewal after we post them.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and disputes go to the courts of South Australia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel your subscription and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure doesn't amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have it fixed in a reasonable time, and if that doesn't happen, to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes these rights.
